8 WINS IN 8 WEEKS! $1,214 Profit! The books cleaned up this week as favorites and serious contenders missed the cut. Guys on fire at links courses the last few weeks didn't event make the Top 20. Fortunately Irish Eyes were shining on us with Lowry. Congrats Shane
This was our last big budget week. Most of our winners are coming from our pre tournament 2Win Bets. T20s and Live bets have helped cover too. But, the more we bet - the less we make. With the new compressed Major season, and a Major every month, its easy to go big and over spend. Moving forward we will stay on a more consistent, smaller budget - even through he Majors.
The 3 Way Strategy WORKS! Each week we learn and improve. Only real change coming - keeping within our budget each week for each strategy.
3WAY WK29 8 Wins in 8 Weeks 100% Profit Over 8 Weeks $1214!
7 Wins in 7 weeks! Up just under $1200, 48% Gain. Still improving though. Looking to keep reining in the budget each week to increase profit. This is a special week, so I am over budget. Here's why....
covered a lot of favorites in case a low odds winner hits this week. If
so, we cover and I hope to see our position bets pay off big. The avg
Position bet payoff is $40-$50 this week - up from the avg $25-$30. I
don't recommend or plan to continue with large budgets, but feel good
about this week.
This is a course unfamiliar to most players on either tour. This opens up opportunities to the entire field, but also makes it likely that many will struggle. The fescue, undulations, and drop offs will exterminate some great players this week. Rain and wind is also expected most days. Mcilroy, McDowell, Harrington, Shane Lowry and Darren Clarke do have experience on this course. Rory shot 61 here at age 16.
I feel just as strong about all of the Long Shot 2win bets as the favorites. All of those have performed very well the last few weeks at The Irish, The Scottish, or stateside. I have those in the Position Bets column too.
A great story this week is Christiaan Bezuidenhout, who after an accidental childhood poisoning, was later banned for using meds that helped him overcome the effects (stuttering and anxiety) of that poisoning. This, in spite of listing the drug on his test questionnaire. The random drug test that initiated the ban took place at Royal PortRush. Love to see him get revenge this week. Christiaan took down Jon Rahm on the back nine Sunday to win on a difficult course in Spain a few weeks ago, played links the last 2 weeks and shot in the low 60s last Sunday on Links in Scotland last week. I like his chances here this week @300-1. Thorbjorn Olesen played well here at the Irish in 2012, he has also been trending with a 15th at the Irish 2 weeks ago. I was also impressed with Benjamin Hebert and Andrea Pavan as runner ups at recent links events the last few weeks. Robert Rock also dominated for a few rounds 2 weeks ago at the Irish Open.
I'm also staying on Cantlay and Xander ( w/ an X ) to possibly win a Major this week. I like the other Zander too, (9th at The Irish) as a great dark horse pick. Also, Pepperellwho was 4th at The Irish.
PGA Clark, Hadwin and Harman were close, down to the last few holes. Made a profit on Position Bets. EURO Wed pick Sullivan lost by 2 strokes. Made money on Position Bets. 10 were in play on Sunday. Real close to $300 in T20s.
PGA A.J. $240 - 3 stroke lead with 5 to go! Bogie on Par 5, lost by 1. Ouch!
