WHAT'S MISSING WITH JORDAN SPIETH?
Not much
Unlike the Nay-Sayers I believe he is already one of the games great players.
It's not IF but WHEN? As far as winning a major and shutting them all up.
He destroyed the greatest players in the world - 2 weeks in a row at the end of last year.
So What's Missing?
He's not long - but he's not short in distance either.
He hits fairways and greens.
Maybe the Best Short Game on Tour.
He is one of the best putters in the world.
However, he is ranked 158th for Puts inside 10 feet.
Why?
He looks at the ball half the time.
His team seems to look at this as a harmless quirk. I do not.
He made 3 long puts to win last week - But - he missed 4 short that would have allowed him to run away with a win - rather than steal one in a playoff.
The Solution
Don't look at the Hole - Not so much the Ball - Look at your Putter!
If you read the put and line up the ball with your putter
Your Putter Face determines where the Ball will go.
Keep the putter head close to the ground
the more you lift - the more likely you'll be Toe or Heel the ball
then just follow through.
Do Try this at Home.
Oh Yeah do a practice swing beside the ball
Full Swing
Then only back as far as you need for the distance
Your putter stroke should be a smooth pendulum back and forward
I see a lot of tour pros - Smacking the ball lately
IE Ramsay at Trophee - gave away 3 strokes that way today
