GOLF PICKS THE PLAYERS
$100 JORDAN SPIETH @10-1
You could make the case that 4 weeks without a competitive round will leave him a little short. A Top 10 here would be a respectable finish and quiet the critics. Many claim his collapse at Augusta could be too deep a scar to heal this quickly.
You could also make the case that he is too short and his overall stats are too average to ever be one of the all time greats. Many did, prior to his meteoric rise that started at the end of a winless season in Australia. 12 months later, he had won 2 majors and the FedEx Cup.
As I suspected, while Fowler and others were playing last week - Jordan was been camped out at The Players a week ahead. There is no substitute for preparation.
A pregame tongue slip in the NFL often provides locker room fuel for a 10-1 underdog. I Jordan at 10-1 this week for that very reason. If you want Spieth to do something, just tell him he can't.
Press Conference:
In response to questions regarding the effects of his loss at The Masters:
"I think people moved on already, at least I thought so until I came in here today."
[ If you look at Augusta glass half full - he had a 5 shot lead at The Masters - no one else in the field this week can put that on their resume.]
Those who fail to pick him this week - may wish the media had kept it's mouth shut. If he does fall just short - double your bet the next time he plays. Last year, money on Spieth outperformed most mutual funds.
Jordan's response to the media's concerns this week was defensive, dismissive, and in one case symbolic. A picture paints a thousand words.
My best guess is that Justin Thomas or some buddy of his was razzing him for missing a put during practice on Tuesday at The Players

RBS HERITAGE and OPEN DE ESPANA
RBC
I'm High on Lovemark - who's come inches from a win several times this season
Fitzy is a solid favorite along with Kisner
Throwing $20 on DeChambeau @ 50-1
Not a lot of Big Names this week - You may want to cover some Talented LongShots Online @ Great Odds.
OPEN DE ESPANA
I'm staying On Bjerreegaard.
Several others at good odds with a good chance to win
Too many serious contenders to isolate just one.

GOLF PICKS THE MASTERS 2016
This years Master's seems to have snuck up on us. Last year we all had a favorite. This year it feels like anybody's game.
I like Spieth - If - he can start Hitting Fairways and get his Proximity to the Hole back inside 10 or 15 feet. You can't count on 25 ft puts to win the Masters. Those undulating greens will reward shots close to the pin.
Top Picks
Spieth
Fowler
Stenson
Danny Willett
Zach Johnson
De Chambeau
To handicap The Masters - you have too look at who plays well there, and who's trending.
See the Chart below for (History) at this Event and (Recent) Finishes.
